We sorrow not as those that have no hope. How sad it is to lay the bodies of our dear friends away in the cold earth, and as we stand and look in the open grave for the last time we would do more for them but we cannot, our arms are too short. We have gone as far as we can go. So we must be content to await our call, even the little babe as it looked into the casket at the dead face of its mother waved its little hand as its mother had taught it to do, seeming to say “by-by.”
